The main aim of the project
The main aim of the project Jean Monnet Module "European Data Strategy: Data Governance for New Opportunities" # 101127839 - Data4EU - ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH is to study EU legislation and practices on personal data protection, dissemination of information about the new European rules of work with personal data of the GDPR, public dialogue, and stakeholder discussion, improvement of public perceptions of EU values and their compliance with information technologies.Objectives
The objectives of the project are as follows:
• conducting lectures, seminars, and training for students, using the modern methodologies and technics;
• organization of summer school for students of all directions;
• retraining and training university teachers, students and IT-specialist on EU related issues;
• conducting roundtables for all stakeholders, with the invitation of specialists from IT companies, experts from other universities of Ukraine.
Activities
It is planned to apply the following activities:
• conducting lectures, seminars, and training for students, using the modern methodologies and technics;
• invitation as guest-lecturer different experts in data protection from leading European universities;
• Organization of summer school for students of all directions;
• Conducting roundtables for all stakeholders, with the invitation of specialists from IT companies, experts from other universities of Ukraine.
Outputs
Outputs of the project:
• development of five new modules;
• publication of the collective scientific monograph
• conducting promotion events round tables with stakeholders, winter school.
• presentation of the results of research on the international scientific conferences;
• annual workshop for academic, professional and civil society audience on the issues of data protection and privacy problems, tools and technics;
• development of an open online course on the virtual platform of Moodle - for professional IT-specialists and for all interested persons.
